1st December 2013 Hiking - Walking: Martlesham Creek Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny periods then cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Sat.30th Nov - Bike to the Ferry Got up early wrapped up and took our bikes out to see the sunrise :) We went down the hill to Felixstowe beach and I got a nice shot of the sunrise - ship on the horizen too at the Fludgers :) We then continued across the golf course to the Ferry and back along the beach path to the Dip and home to make soup :) Good day even Ipswich won !!! Sun. 1st Dec - A bit of a lay in :) then we packed a flask of our home made soup before heading to Martlesham Creek to walk to Woodbridge but the footpath was closed (since August !!! ) for repairs and the men were working !! so we walked the Waldringfield side down to the River Deben, birds were a bit thin on the ground but we did see Redshanks,Dunlins,Curlews,Egrets,Lapwings,Teals,Widgeans and the star of the show a Yellowhammer :) We stopped for our lovely soup before heading back across across the fields as the sun disappears :( - nice day.
